John received his B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University in 1996.
He serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of FEIH, an organization committed to providing education to children in Honduras. Since its founding in 2014, the foundation has constructed 15 schools, and has provided school supplies and other assistance to thousands of children in need.
John lives in Manhattan with his wife Betsy and their two sons.
Steve received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Hartford in 1988.
He is a Vice President of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest New Jersey and chairman of their investment committee. JFS Metrowest provides for the social services and mental health needs of the greater community with unparalleled professionalism, humanity and respect for all who seek its support. Since 1861, JFS MetroWest has been helping families and individuals of all ages manage life’s challenges.
Steve lives in West Orange, New Jersey with his wife Melanie and their daughter. Steve and Melanie also have an older son and daughter.
Tonia received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1991.
She serves as a board member of The Council for Economic Education along with current and former officials of the U.S. Federal Reserve, among others. CEE is a non-profit organization focused on personal finance and economic education of students from kindergarten through high school.
Stephen received his B.A. from the University of Rochester in 1967 and his M.A. from Northwestern University in 1970. He has been a member of the CFA Society of New York (formerly the New York Society of Securities Analysts) since 1975 and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1978. Prior to joining Shufro Rose, Stephen was a securities analyst at Neuberger Berman and other institutional firms for thirteen years.
Stephen has been active in youth soccer, basketball and baseball programs as both a coach and administrator for more than 35 years. He lives in West Orange, New Jersey, with his wife Carol. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Greg received his B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1997. Prior to joining Shufro Rose, Greg was an attorney at Seward & Kissel LLP and Loeb & Loeb LLP. His practice focused on securities litigation.
He currently serves as a Vice President of the board of The Child Center of New York, an organization that serves over 35,000 at-risk children and families each year through early childhood education, behavioral health, integrated care, prevention services and youth development programs. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute, which is affiliated with Hunter College. He is a member of the Advisory Board for Andover Bread Loaf, a program whose mission is to promote literacy and educational revitalization through the lens of social justice in the most under-resourced communities and school systems around the world, particularly in U.S. urban communities and public schools. Lastly, Greg serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Jewish Center of the Hamptons.
Greg lives in Manhattan with his wife Jen, their two sons, and their rescue dog Ajax.
Harvey graduated with a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College in 1967 and worked at the accounting firm of Oppenheim, Appel, Dixon & Co., where he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1972. Prior to joining Shufro Rose, Harvey was Senior Vice President and Director of Private Client Services at Herzog, Heine, Geduld Inc. He also managed investment portfolios for Herzog’s retirement plans, served on the firm’s Executive Committee, and was Herzog’s Chief Financial Officer from 1976-1981. In addition, from 1975-1988 he held positions as Treasurer of Mutual Shares Corp. (now part of Franklin Templeton) and its registered investment adviser, Heine Securities Corp.
Harvey is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Harvey has been a member of the Sales and Marketing Division of the Securities Industry Association (SIA), the Wall Street Tax Association, and the New York Stock Exchange Sales and Marketing Committee. He serves as a mentor at Baruch College and is a member of Baruch’s Executives on Campus program.
Harvey lives in Purchase, New York, with his wife Judy. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.
Barbara received her B.A. in Government and Russian Area Studies from Dartmouth College in 1989 and her M.A. in Policy Studies from the University of Michigan in 1991. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1999, became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2019, and earned her Chartered Special Needs Consultant ® designation in 2020. Prior to joining Shufro Rose, Barbara was a Principal at Rosenblum Silverman Sutton, a registered investment adviser, and a vice president at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder.
Barbara lives in New York City with her husband Alex, their two sons, and their labradoodle Willie.
Vib received his B.A. in Computer Science from New York University’s College of Art & Sciences in 1999 and his M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Organizational Management from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2005.
Vib is an Eagle Scout, Boy Scouts of America, and actively supports local Scouting councils and initiatives.
John received his B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University in 1983.
John is a retired Major, having served in the United States Army Reserve in various leadership and staff assignments. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant.
Erin is a graduate of Iona College.

Ann Marie began her career at Shufro Rose, working directly with our clients as a Client Service Associate. After a few years in tech sales, Ann Marie has returned to Shufro Rose in an organizational capacity with a unique perspective to help drive enhancements to client-facing and internal experiences.
Ann Marie received her B.S. in Finance from the Providence College School of Business and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Previously, Adriana was part of Clarfeld Financial Advisors, where she focused on holistic personal financial planning, including estate, retirement, tax, investment, and insurance planning. She began her career at Reservoir Capital Group, a private investment firm, where Adriana supported the firm’s efforts in identifying, seeding, and incubating hedge fund managers for Reservoir Strategic Partners Fund.

CNBC enlisted data provider AccuPoint Solutions to assist with the ranking of registered investment advisors for the 2021 FA 100 list. The methodology consisted of first analyzing a variety of core data points from AccuPoint Solutions’ database of registered investment advisors. This analysis started with an initial list of 38,302 RIA firms. Through a process, the list was eventually cut to 749 RIAs, with those firms meeting CNBC’s proprietary criteria. (All the data collected from the RIAs was information culled from the firm’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.)
CNBC staff sent an email survey to all those firms that met the initial criteria to gather more details. AccuPoint again applied CNBC’s proprietary weighted categories to further refine and rank the firms, ultimately creating the list of the top 100.
The primary data points used in the analysis were reviewed, either as a minimum baseline or within a range, eliminating those firms that did not meet CNBC’s requirements. Once the initial list was compiled, weightings were also applied accordingly. These data points included:
